Not only is Nacho Banos a recognized (and published) authority of early vintage Fender style guitars, and an absolute master builder with an amazing eye and skill for aging them – he is genuinely one of the nicest and most intelligent people in the guitar industry.

The inspiration for this custom ordered instrument, of course, is a certain Zoso with a birthdate matching the serial number ! 

Backstory: A Lake Placid Blue Stratocaster from Sam Ash in New York City was used at the 1975 Earls Court shows for No Quarter and Over The Hills And Far Away . It was also used in 1979 and 1980 for In The Evening . In the studio, he used the Fender Stratocaster in the Presence sessions, on For Your Life and Hots On For Nowhere .
